Braised Oxtails

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Oxtails From Fairwind Farm
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup red wine

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl combine thyme, salt, pepper, and garlic.
  • Add oxtails to mixture and coat evenly
  • Heat oil in a large saute pan, add seasoned oxtails and saute until browned on all sides
  • Add red wine, cover and cook until oxtails are tender, at least one hour.
  • Serve with buttered noodles and green beans
